Each year the Jordan Education Foundation awards $2000.00 scholarships to a high school senior from each of the five Jordan District High Schools.

Recipients are chosen by their principal, teachers and school counselors. And criteria is not solely based on grades. Instead, a student is chosen who has shown tremendous progress in overcoming great odds to graduate. Each student has suffered through a period of tough academic, economic and/or personal circumstances and has chosen to turn their life around and continue their education. But have little or no chance in obtaining any other financial assistance.

Scholarships are named for the businesses, institutions and individuals within the community who sponsor them. And are awarded by the JEF at an annual awards banquet each spring.
